Mark has over 10 years of experience helping entrepreneurs start, grow, transition and sell their businesses. He can provide insight and guidance to owners and their companies in organizing their affairs in a tax-efficient manner throughout the business’ life cycle.
From his first four years at a local accounting firm to the last six years focused on both personal and corporate income taxes at a “Big Four” national firm, Mark has been part of a dedicated team providing tax, advisory and accounting services to private owner-managed businesses and their families and is committed to providing exemplary service to his clients.
In addition to working primarily with private for-profit entities, Mark has also devoted a significant amount of time in the non-profit sector. His work included the review of both existing and proposed activities for non-profit organizations and registered charities in order to identify and mitigate risks to the organization’s tax exempt status. Mark also has extensive experience reviewing tax filings to ensure compliance with income tax legislation.
